Successful prosecution of an appeal against a major insurance carrier on an issue involving the interpretation of covered benefits under a homeowner's earthquake policy. Our firm obtained a pro-consumer insurance ruling which benefitted the client and other consumers who purchased the same policies. 

C. Joe Sayas, Jr. wrote the court pleadings and argued the Philippine government's case against former President Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos in the first case against the Marcoses in the US West Coast in 1986. The court granted a preliminary injunction in the cases.
